Improve Your Boating Skills and Knowledge

We are frequently asked about a "Florida Boaters License". Florida does not issue a boaters "license"; however,  to legally operate a motorboat of ten (10) horsepower or greater Florida requires anyone who was born on or after Jan. 1, 1988, to successfully complete an approved boating safety course and obtain a Boating Safety Education Identification Card issued by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.  America's Boating Course meets all requirement to obtain your Florida Boater Education Card.

We offer a full range of boating education for both novice and experienced boaters, including both comprehensive courses and short seminars about seamanship and boat handling, navigation, boat systems maintenance, weather, sailing, cruise planning, and other topics specifically created to meet the needs of today's boater.

Better boaters feel more confident on the water, at the helm, and in the company of other boaters. They're boaters who boat more, boat more safely, and have more fun.
