We're your friends and neighbors in the Charlotte Harbor area on Florida's Southwest Coast. The U.S. Power Squadrons® is America's Boating Club® and is for all types of boaters – novice or experienced, in coastal or inland waterways. We bring boaters together to improve their skills, make connections, or just enjoy time together. Our boating courses and seminars are just the beginning – beyond the classroom a world of boating fun awaits!
Congratulations to the 2025-2026 Bridge

What we've done
Since being chartered on December 4, 1972, America's Boating Club Peace River has been an important part of the recreational boating community of Charlotte County. Literally thousands of people have taken boating classes from our experienced, and certified, instructors. Countless hours of volunteer time have been given back to the community through a variety of civic service programs.
America's Boating Club® Peace River is more than recreational boating education, our squadron is active in community activities and social events, both afloat and ashore.
America’s Boating Club® Peace River is a member of the Charlotte County Chamber of Commerce
America’s Boating Club® Peace River is a safe boating advisor to the Punta Gorda & Charlotte Harbor Boaters Alliance
America’s Boating Club® Peace River is a Weather-Ready Nation Ambassador, a program of National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA)
Each year the United States Power Squadrons® Communications Committee reviews Squadron and District websites and selects those which merit special recognition for sustained quality throughout the year that not only promote life within the United States Power Squadrons® but also instill interest and inspire and encourage members of the public to take courses and join our organization. This achievement is recognized with the Distinctive Communicator Award.
